A recent incident involving popular actress Nidhi Agarwal has triggered serious discussions about celebrity safety, crowd control, and event management standards in India. Reportedly, the actress had a deeply disturbing experience during a promotion event for her upcoming film, The Raja Saab, at Lulu Mall, Kukatpally (Hyderabad). The incident was so disturbing that it left her shaken and unable to sleep that night.

The event was held to promote the second single “Sahana… Sahana” from The Raja Sahab, starring Prabhas and directed by Maruthi. According to the production, Agarwal was caught amid an unruly crowd without adequate security arrangements. A producer linked with the event said that the actress was quite shocked by what transpired and blamed the organisers for failing to anticipate the massive turnout.

Celebrity manager Giridhar highlighted that such situations are completely avoidable with proper planning. Previously, he has organised multiple events featuring Nidhi Agarwal in Parvathipuram and Narsipatnam (Andhra Pradesh).
He emphasised that coordination with the venue management should be initiated at least 15 days in advance, crowd estimation and deploying sufficient bouncers are non-negotiable steps. Moreover, he suggests 30 to 40 trained bouncers forming a human chain to ensure the actress is safely escorted from the car to the venue and back.
He also highlighted that smaller towns also attract large crowds. It could sometimes exceed one lakh people, especially when promotions are aggressively marketed in local media.

Giridhar also recalled a similar incident involving actress Samantha in Tirupati, where a fan crossed boundaries and pulled her.
