UAE weather: The UAE is currently experiencing a spell of humid and changeable weather as winter conditions continue to influence the region. According to official forecasts, you can expect misty mornings, isolated rainfall, and fluctuating temperatures over the coming days.
What Happened Today?

According to a statement released by the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM), humid weather conditions prevailed across large parts of the UAE on Friday, along with rainfall in some northern and eastern regions. Early morning, heavy rain was reported in Sharjah and Fujairah. Moreover, convective clouds continued forming over mountainous and inland areas.
The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has issued multiple alerts, including fog and weather warnings. The authority has advised residents to remain cautious, especially during early morning and late-night hours.
As per NCM data, early morning hours saw mist and light fog, especially across coastal and internal areas. Hence, a red fog alert was issued from 5:15 am to 10 am to warn motorists of reduced visibility. Additionally, a yellow alert for wind and thunderstorms stayed active from 6:30 am to 8 pm today.
Temperature will stay within the winter range to offer cooler-than-usual conditions across the country.

What Has Changed?

Many weather patterns have shifted over the UAE based on the latest advisory from the NCM. Below is the list of those changes:
- Increased humidity levels, with maximum humidity expected to reach up to 90% in coastal and internal areas.
- Higher chances of mist and fog during late-night and early-morning hours.
- Scattered rainfall is possible over northern and eastern regions due to convective cloud formation.
- Wind speeds rising up to 35 km/h, which could shift between north-westerly, south-easterly, and north-easterly directions.
- Slight rise in temperatures expected on Sunday, while overall conditions remain variable through Tuesday.
According to NCM officials, the weather will remain humid at night and fair to partly cloudy during the day. However, low clouds will continue to appear over the eastern and northern parts of the country.

The current weather conditions are expected to impact the following groups:
- Daily commuters and drivers: Fog and mist may significantly reduce visibility, especially in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, and Ajman, during early mornings.

- Coastal residents and fishermen: Sea conditions are forecast to be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and slight to moderate in the Sea of Oman, according to NCM.

Authorities have requested to perform caution and to follow traffic advisories during fog alerts to avoid accidents.

Abu Dhabi and Dubai Temperature Update
According to official readings shared by the National Centre of Meteorology, temperatures across major UAE cities remain mild, especially for weather Abu Dhabi. Here is the UAE weather temperature forecast:
- Abu Dhabi: 15°C to 25°C
- Dubai: 17°C to 26°C
- Sharjah: 13°C to 24°C
The lowest temperature recorded over the country this morning is 4.9°C in Jais Mountain (Ras Al Khaimah) at 02:30 UAE Local Time. However, the highest temperature recorded over the country is 27.3°C in Sweihan (Al Ain) at 15:00 UAE local time yesterday.
