On Tuesday, the UAE joined the global celebration of the International Youth Day 2025 held under the theme, “Local Youth Action for the SDGs and beyond.” In addition, the event highlights the ongoing commitment of the nation to strengthen its youth and identify their important role in bringing national and global progress.
The United States (US) endorses this annual observance. In addition, it highlights the importance of the local youth-led campaign in advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and creating lasting community impact.
Presidential Message: Celebrating Ambition and Achievement for the International Youth Day
President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, shared an inspiring message on X (formerly Twitter) on this day.
He wrote, “On the International Youth Day, we celebrate the ambition and achievement of youth in boosting a better future for all. Recognising their important role in our continued development of the nation. The UAE is committed to supporting youth to serve as leaders in their communities and contribute to our collective progress”.
The statement of the president shows the vision of the UAE to position young people at the forefront of national development. Moreover, it allows the youth to lead the campaign that aligns with local priorities and international sustainability goals.
UAE’s Ongoing Commitment to Youth Empowerment
