UAE Students Achieve Record-Breaking GCSE Results, Outshining Global Benchmarks

Students across the United Arab Emirates (UAE) have achieved record-breaking results in the Certificate of Secondary Education (GCSE) examinations this year. So, it has surpassed the international benchmarks and empowered the reputation of the country as a hub for world-class education.

GEMS Education Reports Largest GCSE Results in History

GEMS Education, which is the largest private school operator in the UAE, has announced its best-ever performance with more than 4000 students from 23 schools across Qatar and the UAE sitting 28,227 exams.   In addition, it is the highest in the history of the group. Below are the details related to the GCSE results:

  • Examiners awarded top grades 9-8 (A*) to 26% of entries.
  • 45% achieved 9-7 (A-A)
  • 65% attained 9-6 (A-B)
  • 87% secured 9-4 (A-C)

Lisa Crausby OBE, Group Chief Education Officer at GEMS, has appreciated the result as “an example of high expectation, genuine care, and personalised support”.
