Abu Dhabi Launches Real Estate Advertising Permit to Curb Fake Property Listings

The Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM)  has rolled out a new Real Estate Advertising Permit service. So, it aims to manage fake and misleading property ads and strengthen trust in the real estate sector.

This initiative is going to make it mandatory for all property advertisements within the jurisdiction of the ADGM to get the permit before going live. So, this move is a direct concern over duplicate and inaccurate listings that often mislead buyers and tenants.

A Unified System for Verified Property Ads under the real estate advertising permit

The ADGM’s AccessRP platform is backing this service with the integration in Madhmoun, which is the UAE’s first government-regulated Multiple Listing Service (MLS). So, this integration will ensure every property listing is officially verified to create a clear, reliable, and customer-friendly marketplace.

This initiative is a result of collaboration between the ADGM Registration Authority, the Department of Municipalities and Transport (DMT), and the Abu Dhabi Real Estate Centre (ADREC). According to the ADGM, the Real Estate Advertising Permit is going to remove unverified and duplicate ads and protect customers from misleading information.

Boosting Market Confidence and Transparency

The ADGM highlights that the permit is a part of its ongoing commitment to governance, clarity, and investor protection. Moreover, the new service is expected to boost the real estate sector by creating a single and trustworthy platform for verified property listings.

In addition.  It will provide buyers, renters, and investors with more confidence to make decisions. On top of that, this practice will also save time for real estate aggregators and customers because they can now depend on one source of authentic data instead of sifting through unverified advertisements.

Why This Matters for Abu Dhabi’s Real Estate Market

The Abu Dhabi property industry has seen rising demand in few months. So, the rents are soaring, and prices are steady due to limited new supply. Thus, the ADGM is taking a proactive step to maintain the credibility of the market and support sustainable growth.

Industry experts said that the system could be a new benchmark for property advertising regulations across the UAE and wider regions. So, it is empowering the position of Abu Dhabi as a hub for secure and transparent real estate investment.

The Abu Dhabi Advertising permit stands out as an important tool to ensure only real opportunities reach the public because the sector is continuously changing.
