UAE Cricket Squad Ready for Bank Alfalah T20I Tri-Series 2025 at Sharjah

The UAE men’s cricket team is all set to sharpen its Asia Cup preparation in the Inverex Solar Energy presents Bank Alfalah T20I Tri-Series 2025 at the iconic Sharjah Cricket Stadium. However, skipper Mohammad Waseem will lead the 15-member UAE cricket squad against the regional powerhouse Afghanistan and Pakistan in a high-intensity dress rehearsal for the ACC Asia Cup 2025, which will kick start in the UAE on September 9.

Why does this tri-series matter?

In an interview with the Gulf News, Head Coach Lalchand Rajput says the timing is perfect after a four-nation outing in Uganda, where every player got minutes. He said that beating test-playing countries, like Bangladesh, has given them relief.

Moreover, Rajput noted that playing against Afghanistan and Pakistan before the Asia Cup 2025 is the best preparation.  In addition, he further highlights that fielding, fitness, and mental strength are non-negotiable. Thus, evening training, mandatory yo-yo tests, and selection based on full fitness underline the team’s standards.
