Apple is gearing up for its highly anticipated iPhone 17 launch at the “Awe Dropping” event today, i.e, 9th of September 2025. However, industry insiders suggest that this could be the most significant event for Apple after the iPhone X launch. Moreover, this could bring fresh lineups of the four models mentioned below:

Apple has discounted its “Plus” variant to make way for the iPhone 17 Air. However, this new addition would be a lightweight and mid-tier device that is designed to maintain affordability with the premium features.
Key Features and Design
- Thinnest iPhone yet: The iPhone 17 Air will measure just 5.5–6.25mm thick. Moreover, it will feature a 6.6-inch display with a single 48MP rear camera and a compact 2,800mAh battery.
- Display upgrades: All models are tipped to feature LTPO OLED panels with ProMotion 120Hz refresh rate. However, this feature was previously limited to Pro models.
- Performance: Pro models will pack 12GB RAMPowered by the A19 and A19 Pro chipsets. Moreover, the standard and Air models will get 8GB.
- Cameras: Pro models may debut a 48MP triple-camera setup with 8x optical zoom, 8K video, and astrophotography enhancements. All devices will include a 24MP TrueDepth front camera.
- New design elements: A titanium frame for the Air, a two-tone back for the Pro variants, and bold new colors, such as the striking orange for Pro models.
- Reverse wireless charging: This feature is expected on Pro models. However, it will allow users to charge AirPods or an Apple Watch directly.
iPhone 17 Pricing – Global vs UAE
Apple is expected to maintain its base pricing in the US. However, people in the UAE could see the slight increases in price compared to the iPhone 16 series. We have listed the expected pricing below:
