Etihad Rail is all set to host the Global Rail Expo under the patronage of Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the UAE, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court. However, the expo will run from the 8th of October to the 10th of October 2025 at the ADNEC Centre in Abu Dhabi.
The landmark event is organized in partnership with the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure, ADNEC Group, and dmg events. However, it will run under the theme, “Enhancing Transport Infrastructure and Enabling Global Connectivity.”
A Global Gathering of Leaders
The exhibition is expected to draw 15,000 decision-makers, 1,000 company representatives, and 300 exhibitors from more than 40 countries. In addition, there are more than 120 speakers, like ministers, transport leaders, and sustainability experts, in the three-day programme. Moreover, these speakers will feature over 40 keynote sessions and panel discussions that will cover global railway trends, financing, logistics, sustainability, and smart transport innovations.
Building an Integrated Transport Future
Sheikh Diab bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of Etihad Rail, highlighted that the growing international partnerships of the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Furthermore, he noted that the platform is going to support logistics and mobility across the region with the growth and environmental goals.
Suhail Al Mazrouei, UAE Minister of Energy and Infrastructure, also highlighted that railways in the UAE and GCC are central to the long-term vision of the region. Moreover, he stressed that the event will boost the global partnerships, agreements, and innovation in the transport sector.
Abu Dhabi at the Heart of Logistics Growth
Humaid Matar Al Dhaheri, Managing Director and Group CEO of ADNEC Group, said that the event aligns with the strategy of Abu Dhabi of economic diversification and support of its global position in logistics and infrastructure.
On the other hand, Christopher Hudson, President of dmg events, highlighted that the expo is going to advance the net-zero ambitions. Hence, it provides solutions to railway challenges and highlights the role of technology, like AI-driven smart rail systems.

The event is going to spotlight the international cooperation, carbon reduction campaign, and next-generation railway service. Hence, it positions the UAE as the hub for sustainable transport innovation.
