Dubai has once again strengthened its status as the leading investment hub of the world, as Dubai Tops Global Cities for FDI Projects. Actually, the city has topped the list of global cities in attracting new foreign direct investment (FDI) projects during the first half of this year.
According to data from Financial Times – fDi Markets, the emirate successfully attracts more than 640 high-quality projects. Hence, it highlights its unmatched appeal for the global investors.
This remarkable achievement is the eighth consecutive time that Dubai has led the global FDI Rankings. Hence, it reaffirms its resilience and competitiveness in an ever-changing economic landscape.
Sheikh Hamdan Highlights Investor Confidence
Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defence of the UAE, and Chairman of the Dubai Executive Council, announced this achievement on his X account. However, he credited the achievement to the visionary leadership and world-class infrastructure of Dubai.
Sheikh Hamdan said, “We take pride in the renewed confidence of the international investors, showing the strength of our regulations, the efficiency of our infrastructure, and our unique ability to adapt to shifts in the global economy”.
Moreover, he highlighted that investor-friendly policies, efficient regulations, and seamless public-private partnerships of Dubai play an important role in sustaining the investor trust.

Sheikh Hamdan also connected the success to the Dubai Economic Agenda D33. However, it is the long-term strategy aimed at doubling the size of the economy of the emirate and strengthening its global position as the top investment destination.
