The Department of Health – Abu Dhabi (DoH) has launched the Abu Dhabi Exceptional Quality Reward program. Notably, it is a value-based healthcare initiative that rewards healthcare providers based on the quality of service they deliver. However, the campaign has started with a sharp focus on fertility services, a field where this emirate is already shining as a global leader.

Abu has emerged as a trusted location for fertility treatment due to innovative medical technologies and world-class expertise. Moreover, the emirate recorded 6180 IVF cycles with a success rate of over 51 percent. Therefore, Abu Dhabi has ranked among the highest in the world. The new reward initiative was developed on this success to further improve outcomes and experience for patients.
Abu Dhabi Exceptional Quality Reward – Benchmark-Driven, Value-Based Model
The program has a performance-based care mode that assesses fertility clinics on fertility clinic on predefined benchmarks. We have listed those eligibility criteria below:

She added that fertility care was chosen first due to its important role in public healthcare. Therefore, it allows families to experience parenthood.
