TRENDS Research & Advisory is organising the 2nd Annual AI Dialogue. However, it will kick start Abu Dhabi tomorrow under the theme “Tech Diplomacy in the Middle East and North Africa.”Moreover, this prestigious event will be held in strategic partnership with the UAE Cybersecurity Council and 21 other global and regional entities.
The dialogue will bring together an elite panel of researchers, decision-makers, and industry leaders from organisations such as Google, OpenAI, G42, GC REAIM, Khalifa University, Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence (MBZUAI), and New York University Abu Dhabi.
In addition, it also features participation from the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), which is one of the leading US think tanks. Hence, it marks its first-ever participation in the Middle East.

The dialogue is going to feature three main sessions. Moreover, each of them will focus on a critical aspect of artificial intelligence, innovation, and global diplomacy. Below are the details of those sessions:

This session explores the evolving relationship between the United States and Gulf countries in areas of innovation, advanced technology, and AI-driven development. Moreover, experts are going to discuss how AI is shaping the next phase of strategic cooperation and economic diversification across the region.
2. Navigating the Geopolitics of AI
This session delves into the geopolitical dimension of artificial intelligence as AI increasingly influences the global power balance. Moreover, it will analyse how emerging technologies are transforming international relations, policy-making, and security frameworks throughout the world.
3. Soft Power Through AI and Digital Infrastructure
The final session is going to focus on how AI contributes to soft power and digital diplomacy. Moreover, experts will examine how nations can use AI to boost their global image. Hence, it could strengthen their cross-cultural communication and promote sustainable development through innovation.
Strategic and Academic Partnerships Strengthen Dialogue

The 2nd Annual AI Dialogue showcases the commitment of the UAE to global collaboration in artificial intelligence and emerging technologies. Moreover, the UAE Cybersecurity Council joins as a strategic partner. However, G42 serve as the strategic AI partner.
On top of that, major technology players, like CrowdStrike, Accenture, Palo Alto Networks, Cisco, and Microsoft, are participating as global technology partners. Hence, it will highlight the influence of the event across the public and private sectors.
In addition, academic institutions such as the United Arab Emirates University, Rabdan Academy, MBZUAI, Mohamed bin Zayed University for Humanities, and Khalifa University are contributing to discussions. Therefore, it highlights the synergy between research and real-world AI applications.
