UAE Weather: The nation is set to experience unsettled weather conditions from Monday, i.e. today. According to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM), you can expect cloudy skies, gusty winds, and a chance of rainfall in many parts of the country. Cloudy Skies and Rain Chances Across Key Regions
The NCM said the current conditions are being driven by an extension of a weak surface low-pressure system supported by an upper-air low in a daily weather bulletin. This combination is creating atmospheric instability to increase the likelihood of convective cloud formation.
The weather on Monday is expected to stay partly cloudy to cloudy at times. Therefore, rainfall is possible over the coastal, northern and eastern regions. Convective clouds, typically linked to showers, might develop intermittently during the day.

Winds to Intensify, Dusty Conditions Likely
Winds will be moderate to fresh. They will blow from the south-west to north-west at speeds of 15–30 km/h. However, gusts could reach up to 45km/h, especially near cloud formation. These conditions might lead to blowing dust and reduced visibility in open and exposed areas.
The meteorological department has issued dust safety guidelines. They have advised residents to keep windows and doors closed and limit outdoor exposure during a dusty spell.

Temperature Outlook Across the UAE
Despite unsettled weather conditions, daytime temperatures are expected to rise slowly. Below is the list of temperature forecasts:
- Coastal and island areas: 24°C to 29°C
- Internal regions: Up to 30°C
- Mountain areas: Cooler, between 13°C and 20°C
Big cities are going to see warm and manageable conditions. Abu Dhabi is forecast to reach 28 °C. However, the UAE weather today Dubai might touch 29 °C. In contrast, temperatures are expected to range between 17°C and 28°C in Sharjah.
Overnight temperature will drop to 16–20°C along the coast, 12–17°C inland, and could fall as low as 9°C in mountainous areas. Hence, it could mark a noticeable contrast between day and night.

Rough Sea Conditions Expected
Sea conditions are forecast to be moderate to rough at times in the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea. It could become very rough over the next few days. Therefore, mariners and beachgoers are advised to exercise caution during this period.

What to Expect in the Coming Days
Unsettled weather is expected to continue through Tuesday and Wednesday. Sky is predicted to remain partly cloudy to cloudy at times with extra rainfall chances and stronger north-westerly winds. Moreover, a drop in temperature is also expected during this period.
Conditions should slowly stabilise by Thursday and Friday as fair to partly cloudy skies are returning. However, increased humidity overnight and during early morning might lead to fog or mist formation, especially over coastal and internal areas towards the end of the week.

Hence, residents are advised to stay informed about official weather alerts and take necessary precautions during periods of dust, rain, and rough sea conditions.
