Dubai Aerospace Enterprise Doubles Profit to $653 Million in 2025 After NAC Integration

Dubai Aerospace Enterprise (DAE) Ltd has reported a remarkable 10 per cent year-on-year increase before tax. Hence, it ‌reached $653 million for the 9 months ended September 30, 2025. Moreover, the impressive performance shows the strong revenue growth, successful integration of Nordic Aviation Capital (NAC), and continued expansion in its engineering and leasing operations.

According to the company’s latest financial report, the total revenue of the DAE surged 26 per cent to $1.28 billion. Hence, it highlights the benefit of the NAC integration earlier this year. Additionally, the firm’s pre-tax profit margin increased to 26.7%, up from 23.1% in the same period last year. However, the return on equity rose to 13.6%, compared to 10.9% in 2024.

NAC Integration Strengthens Performance

Chief Executive Officer Firoz Tarapore attributed the record performance to the smooth integration of Nordic Aviation Capital across DAE’s operational framework. Tarapore said, “Revenue for the nine-month period surged 26% to $1.3 billion, highlighting a 100 per cent increase in profit before tax to $653 million. Our  capital adequacy, funding, and liquidity metrics remain comfortably within our targets,  showing DAE’s financial strength and operational discipline.”

The acquisition of NAC is one of the largest regional aircraft lessors. In addition, it has boosted the global reach of the UAE and fleet diversity. As of 30 September, the total assets reached $16.36 billion, compared to $13.03 billion at the end of 2024, mainly due to the consolidation of NAC’s portfolio.

The company boosted its maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) capacity through a new 5-day hangar at Joramco, which allows 22 parallel maintenance lines. Plus, this expansion allows the DAE to serve wide-body and narrow-body aircraft simultaneously. Moreover, it improves service efficiency and capacity for the global airline clients.

Moreover, it reinforces its position among the top aircraft lessors in the world.

Plus, the company raised $2.75 billion in funding from 21 regional and Asian banks financially. In addition, it has an average tenor of 5.4 years.  Moreover, this move has strengthened its liquidity position. Hence, it gives the company a liquidity coverage ratio of 227% and available liquidity of $3.44 billion.

Strong Outlook for Future Growth

Tarapore highlighted that the DAE’s strong financial position, diversified fleet, and expanding engineering capabilities position it well for sustained growth. Tarapore said, “Our long-term strategy is focused on expanding and maintaining businesses. With the successful integration of NAC and strategic investments in engineering infrastructure, the DAE is well-equipped to meet the growing global aviation demand”.

Dubai Aerospace Enterprise is headquartered in Dubai. However, it serves more than  200 airline customers across 80 countries through its two main divisions — DAE Capital and DAE Engineering. Plus, the company operates offices in Dubai, Dublin, Limerick, Amman, Singapore, Miami, and Seattle. Thus, it highlights its global presence and influence in the aviation leasing as well as maintenance sectors of the country.
