Dubai Run 2025 is the biggest community fitness event in the emirate. Now, it is set to take over Sheikh Zayed Road once again. Hence, Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has rolled out a detailed travel plan to ensure a smooth experience for thousands of runners. The authority has released extended Dubai Metro timings, revised traffic plans, and important guidelines before the highly awaited 7th edition of the run.
RTA Extends Dubai Metro Timings for Participants’ Convenience

The Dubai metro timing will be extended tomorrow as it will run from 3 am on November 23 until 12 midnight to support the massive crowd expected at the event. This rare early morning schedule extension is aimed at ensuring easy and predictable access to the starting point for participants and spectators.
Dubai RTA has highlighted that the World Trade Centre will act as a key arrival point for the runners who are ready to join the Dubai Run 2025. Plus, participants are suggested to top up their nol cards with a minimum of Dh15 (Silver Class) or Dh30 (Gold Class) to avoid delays.
Road Closures from 3 am to 10 am on November 23
The number of roads in Dubai will be closed to prepare the iconic Sheikh Zayed Road stretch for the run. Plus, the RTA confirmed that the traffic closure plan will be active between 3 am and 10 am. However, the normal traffic phase will be resumed in phases after 10 am.
The following are the tips that drivers must follow:
- Plan their journeys in advance
- Use alternative routes suggested by RTA
- Allow extra travel time during the early hours of Sunday
The authority has repeated its message on social media, “Plan your journeys in advance and use the suggested detours to ensure smooth travel.”
Earlier, Salik had also announced revised toll rates for the 23rd of November, which align with the citywide adjustments made for the event.
