Dubai police and Parkin partnership have made, as both entities have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). However, the collaboration was announced during the GITEX Global 2025 at the Dubai World Trade Centre. However, it aims to integrate the digital systems of both entities to create a smarter and safer urban mobility network.
Brigadier Issam Ibrahim Al Awar, Acting Director of the General Department of Traffic at Dubai Police, and Engineer Mohamed Abdullah Al Ali, CEO of Parkin PJSC, signed the MoU in the presence of the senior officials from both sides.
Dubai Police and Parkin Partnership: Smarter Data, Safer Roads

The Dubai Police and Parkin Partnership is a significant step toward achieving the emirate’s digital transformation goal. In addition, the collaboration aligns with the vision of Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police.
Brigadier Al Awar highlighted that the integration will allow real-time and secure data sharing between the traffic system of Dubai police and the smart parking and payment platform of Parkin. Hence, it will lead to more data-driven decision-making, efficient traffic planning, and smoother traffic flow.
Brigadier Al Awar said, “This project is a big step toward road safety in Dubai. It will empower monitoring, ensure compliance, and reduce cases of unpaid fines or unlicensed vehicles — contributing to a safer, happier city.”
The integrated system is going to allow the Dubai Police to identify vehicles with pending fines, vehicles with outstanding fines, seizure orders, or criminal links as soon as they enter or use Parkin facilities. After that. Officers will be able to take immediate legal action. Hence, the system will help the officials to further improve public safety and compliance on the roads of the emirate.

This campaign supports the mission of Dubai to become the global leader in smart city innovation. In addition, the MoU ensures better coordination between parking management and law enforcement. Hence, it could result in more efficient public services and improved urban mobility.
The advanced system will detect vehicles linked to traffic or criminal cases and boost the ability of the city to respond instantly to the violation.
