The Islamic month of Dhu al-Hijjah begins on Wednesday, May 28, with Arafat Day falling on Thursday, June 5.
What is Eid al-Adha?
Eid al-Adha, also known as the “Feast of Sacrifice,” is one of the most significant Islamic festivals, commemorating Prophet Ibrahim’s (Abraham’s) unwavering devotion and willingness to sacrifice his son in obedience to God’s command.
