UAE Diwali 2025: Emaar Urges Residents to Celebrate Responsibly and Maintain Community Peace

Neighborhoods across the United Arab Emirates (UAE) are glowing with festive lights, laughter, and joy, as millions of residents mark the celebration for the UAE Diwali 2025. However, the multicultural spirit of the country shines brighter than ever with fireworks and family gatherings.

On the other hand,  Emaar Community Management  has released an important reminder amid the celebration. However, the management is urging everyone to celebrate responsibly and ensure peace within the residential community.

Emaar’s Gentle Reminder: Celebrate, But Be Considerate

UAE Diwali 2025

Emaar highlighted the importance of maintaining community harmony throughout the UAE Diwali 2025 and beyond. However, the message highlighted how peaceful living is developed on mutual respect and understanding, especially during festive occasions.

The circular said, “Let’s maintain the peace and serenity that make our community special. Being mindful of noise ensures everyone can enjoy their home comfortably.” Moreover, Emaar suggested the following simple and meaningful guidelines to strike a balance between joy and consideration:

  • Keep quiet hours: Avoid loud celebrations between 10 PM and 8 AM.
  • Outdoor events: Limit speaker volume and loud music in shared outdoor spaces.
  • Pets and noise: Keep pets indoors during late hours to avoid disturbance.
  • Respect shared walls: Reduce noise from TVs, instruments, or gatherings near neighboring homes.
  • Renovations: Schedule repair or maintenance work during daytime hours only.
  • Car horns and alarms: Prevent unnecessary honking or alarm triggers.
  • Celebrate with courtesy: Enjoy the festival without turning it into an all-night event for the neighborhood.

Each message and guideline captures the spirit of Diwali in UAE, i.e, celebrating while protecting peace for all.

UAE Noise Laws: Peace Is a Legal Right

Legal experts have reiterated that maintaining peace is not just courteous – it is also a part of the UAE noise laws. However, Ashish Mehta, Founder and Managing Partner at Ashish Mehta & Associates,  mentioned that property owners are legally restricted from disturbing their neighbors.

According to Article 1144 of the UAE Civil Transactions Law, the owners must not exercise their right in an excessive manner to the extent detrimental to their property of their neighbors. Moreover, residents troubled by the excessive noise  during Diwali 2025 in the UAE are allowed to file a complaint with the Dubai authorities.

Under Article 77 of Dubai Municipality Local Order No. 61 of 1991,  anyone can report a disturbance to the Noise Control Officer.  Later, officers may inspect the site and verify the case. Moreover, they are also allowed to seek help from the police if needed. Hence, the process ensures that everyone enjoys their celebration without compromising the comfort of others.

UAE Diwali 2025: A Multicultural Message of Respect and Unity

UAE Diwali 2025

The strength of the UAE lies in its diversity and coexistence. Plus, multicultural harmony forms the backbone of its society due to   people from more than 200 nationalities calling the UAE home. Hence, festivals like Diwali 2025 symbolize unity across cultures and faiths.

The initiatives of Emaar highlight the ongoing effort of the country to create harmonious living spaces where celebration and serenity coexist. Moreover, it highlights how respect and consideration can make shared living spaces more welcoming for everyone — regardless of cultural or religious background.

As the lights of UAE diwali 2025 illuminate homes across the country, residents are reminded that the true essence of the festivals lies more than in decoration and fireworks. In addition, it also lives in kindness, empathy, and respect for one another. Therefore, residents are motivated to remember that the true spirit of Diwali 2025 is in compassion and respect for all communities across the UAE.
