Emirates Expands Premium Economy to More Cities in Middle East and West Asia

Emirates is all set to take premium air travel to new heights because Emirates expand premium economy cabin to more destinations. Therefore, the airline has announced an ambitious plan to add more than 2 million premium economy seats by the end of 2025. So, it is developing on the current 1.8 million available seats across its global network. 

Strategic Expansion to Four Key Cities

Emirates is all set to introduce its latest cabin products to four additional cities across the Middle East and West Asia. So, this expansion will ensure more passengers can enjoy the comfort of Premium Economy while connecting to Dubai. However, you can read the details related to new routes and upgrades below:

• Amman (EK903/904): It will run with a four-class Airbus A380 featuring Premium Economy from 26 October.
• Mumbai (EK504/505): A retrofitted Boeing 777 will give the new cabin on 22 weekly flights from 26 October.
• Muscat (EK862/863): All nine weekly services will have the new Airbus A350 from 30 October.
• Bahrain (EK833/834): It is a Boeing 777 with the new product, which will operate every Thursday, making Bahrain an all-signature-cabin route from 4 December.

By this winter season, Emirates will be ready to serve 68 cities through its premium economy-equipped aircraft. 

Part of a Massive Retrofit Program

This upgrade is included in a massive aviation retrofit program. As a result, Emirates has allocated billions to renovate 219 aircraft, such as 110 Airbus A380s and 109 Boeing 777s.

The updates are being conducted at the Emirates Engineering Centre in Dubai. So, it is progressing at a rate of one aircraft. In addition, the work goes beyond a cosmetic aircraft. So, it gives its travelers a detailed upgrade from beginning to end.   

What Passengers Can Expect as Emirates Expands Premium Economy

The Premium economy cabin is expected to introduce the following features:

• Spacious cream-coloured leather seats
• Generous leg rests and deeper recline
• Enhanced cabin design with refreshed interiors and modern colour palettes

Apart from the premium economy, other classes of flights will also benefit from the retrofit. So, it will ensure a superior onboard experience for all passengers.
