Abu Dhabi is gearing up for one of the most spectacular fireworks of the year, as the UAE is celebrating the UAE National Day 2025. Every December, the country lights up with the glowing celebration of unity, heritage and pride, as Abu Dhabi fireworks light up the sky to make the festivities more enjoyable. 

This year, the fireworks in the capital are going to take place on the 2nd of December 2025 at 9 PM. However, some locations are offering shows on December 1 and 3. So, you, your family, and other residents and tourists can enjoy the unforgettable displays from beaches, waterfronts, cultural hubs and iconic landmarks.

1. Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental

Fireworks Abu Dhabi at Emirates Palace

Time: Dec 2, 9:15 PM

You can enjoy a feeling of being in a fairy tale by watching the fireworks Abu Dhabi behind the iconic gold-lit Emirates Palace. Moreover, the palace will host cultural displays, children’s activities, art installations and traditional dance performances throughout the evening.

If you are planning to visit earlier, you can also enjoy Eid Al Etihad grand dome offers pottery workshops, Al Ayala performances and family entertainment from Nov 29 to Dec 3.

2. Abu Dhabi Corniche

 

Time: Dec 2, 9 PM

It is one of the most popular spots to enjoy the fireworks Abu Dhabi. Hence, you and your family members can visit this location with mats and snacks as firework will burst across the wide coastal sky. Moreover. Music, food stalls and flag displays will also be included at this location. So, you should arrive early at one of the busiest location of the emirates. 

3. Al Maryah Island

Time: Dec 2, 9 PM

This location will offer a modern city-line view, where fireworks will reflect the surrounding skyscrapers. Usually, this area features heritage-themed installations, live performances, and activities. 

 4. Al Hudayriyat Island

Al Hudayriyat Island - Fireworks Abu Dhabi

Time: Dec 2, 9 PM

This location is ideal for a relaxed and open-air experience. Hence, you can enjoy cycling or a picnic here before the beginning of the fireworks.  Moreover, the natural surroundings make the location one of the most peaceful viewing points in the emirate. 

5. Yas Marina

Yas marine - Fireworks Abu Dhabi

Time: Dec 2, 9 PM

Boats will gather at this location as fireworks will reflect beautifully on the water. Moreover, you can expect roaming entertainers, heritage performances, kids’ crafts and plenty of waterfront dining options at this spot before the show begins.

6. Yas Bay Waterfront

Yas Bay Waterfront - Fireworks Abu Dhabi

Time: Dec 1–2–3, 9 PM

This location will host the following events on Eid Al Etihad:

  • Cultural performances
  • Henna & calligraphy stations
  • A garden of 54 UAE flags
  • Falconry displays
  • A vintage car exhibition
  • Local food market

The fireworks will provide a grand finale to the events at 9 PM daily. 

Bonus: More Fireworks Through Sheikh Zayed Festival

The Sheikh Zayed Festival at Al Wathba hosts fireworks, laser shows, drone displays and traditional performances from Dec 1–3. However, fireworks will light up the sky on Dec 2 and every Saturday during the festival.
