The wait is finally over! The much-awaited Global Village Opening is a historic milestone as the multicultural destination launches its 30th season today, October 15, 2025, at 6 PM, under the inspiring theme “A More Wonderful World.”
The landmark season will run until May 10, 2026. Moreover, it promises an extraordinary mix of the global culture, thrilling attractions, live performances, and world-class dining. Hence, it ensures an unforgettable experience for families, tourists, and thrill-seekers.
A Record-Breaking Season Ahead
Fernando Eiroa, CEO of Dubai Holding Entertainment, expressed immense pride in how far the Global Village has come.
He said, “The Global village has evolved from a local concept into a true international phenomenon, which has cemented its place as the most successful homegrown destination of the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Last season, we welcomed more than 10.5 million guests, reinforcing the position of Dubai as the global hub for entertainment and tourism”.
Global Village Season 30 of this year takes things up a notch. In addition, it will feature 30 pavilions representing 90 cultures from around the world. Plus, it will feature 3,500+ shopping outlets, 250+ dining experiences, 40,500 shows, and more than 200 rides and attractions.
Dining Highlights: A Global Culinary Adventure
You can look forward to more than 250 dining options, including the iconic Restaurant Plaza. It will feature 11 double-storey restaurants with cuisines from around the world. Moreover, the plaza overlooks the lively Falcon Stage located next to the Carnaval fun-fair, where daily performances are going to entertain you throughout the season. In this area, you can explore the following upgrades:
- Fiesta Street: Bigger, brighter, and more vibrant than ever.
- Dessert District (formerly Railway Market): A reimagined sweet lover’s paradise with Instagram-worthy backdrops.
- Asia Boulevard: A refreshed and expanded “Road of Asia” with new dining and retail offerings.
- Happiness Street: Now adorned with a beautiful new canopy for a cooler, more festive vibe.
Thrilling Attractions and Immersive Adventures at Global Village Opening
Global Village continues to be a paradise for families and adventure lovers. So, Carnaval is the entertainment hub of the park, which features more than 200 rides and games. Here, you can explore new additions, like York Bikes, Toronto Tornado, Desert Dashers, Cape Glider, Rio Rocket, and The Little Wonderers.
Dragon Kingdom is a major highlight of this season. However, it is an impressive walkthrough adventure with 11 themed rooms that mix fantasy, mystery, and excitement. Plus, if you are a horror lover, you can look forward to the Horror Hotel, which is the reimagined world of the popular House of Fear. Plus, it will feature upgraded sets and spine-chilling surprises.
‘Gardens of the World’ is also adding to the charm. It is the transforming area between the Egypt and Iran pavilions into a scenic floral paradise. So, you can also attract memories at the cake monument in Arabian Square, which is a picture-perfect tribute to the 30-year journey of the Global Village.
Entertainment Extravaganza: Over 40,000 Shows Await
You should get ready for a spectacular lineup of more than 40,500 shows featuring 45 world-class performers from 30 countries. However, we have included the highlights of these shows below:
- New Stunt Show: Fast Live Spectacular — packed with Tokyo-style drifting, motorbike jumps, fire, and explosions.
- Main Stage Performances: Retumbar, Red Hot Chili Pipers, Mayumana, Burn the Floor, Dhol Foundation, Swan Lake, and bespoke Global Village shows like Haunted House, Boom Bollywood, and Slam.
- Kids Theatre: Special performances by Care Bears and PJ Masks.
- Fire and Light Shows: Dazzling new displays near Dragon Lake and the Main Stage area.
- Weekend Fireworks: Every Friday and Saturday at 9 PM — a Global Village tradition.
