Kerala State Film Awards 2025: Mammootty Shines as ‘Bramayugam’ & ‘Manjummel Boys’ Dominate — Full Winners List

The much-awaited 55th Kerala State Film Awards 2025 have been announced to celebrate the finest performances of the Malayalam Cinema. However,  Kerala Minister for Fisheries, Culture and Youth Affairs Saji Cherian declared the winners at a press conference in Thrissur. The award for this year honoured the extraordinary performances and technical excellence in 2024. 

The jury, led by veteran actor Prakash Raj, evaluated 128 film entries. However, only 26 films could make it in the final list. Hence, it highlights another powerful year for the Malayalam cinema. Moreover, the ceremony stood out for its diversity in storytelling, strong technical contributions, and outstanding performers who continue to elevate the industry on the global stage.

Manjummel Boys — Big Winner of Kerala State Film Awards 2025

The survival drama Manjummel Boys dominated the awards. It won top honours, including Best Film and Best Director, for Chidambaram S Poduval. Moreover, the film also excelled in technical categories like cinematography, sound, and production design. Below is the listc of awards won by this iconic film:

Mammootty Wins Best Actor — Cementing His Legacy

Mammotty is the name that echoed among fans and critics in the Kerala State Film Awards 2025. However, his incredible performance in Mammootty earned him the Best Actor award. Hence, he once again proves why he stands tall as the greatest cinematic icon of India.
