After winning Indian Idol Season 3 in 2007, he released his album Dhanyavad and performed internationally. In addition, He went on to act in Nepali films such as Gorkha Paltan, Angalo Yo Maya Ko, Kina Maya Ma, Nishani, and Pardesi. Moreover, he appeared in shows like Amber Dhara on television.
