RLSE 2026–2027 Scholarship Applications Open for Years 7, 8, and 9

The Rashid and Latifa Schools Establishment (RLSE) has revealed the opening of RLSE 2026–2027 Scholarship Applications for students who are entering Years 7, 8, and 9. Moreover, the applications are going to begin on the 6th of October. However, it is important to note that the applications are open for Emirati and expatriate students who meet the eligibility criteria of the program. 

The RLSE scholarship targets academically outstanding students and highlights holistic development. Hence, it combines strong academic performance with leadership, innovation, and creativity. Moreover, the establishment said in a statement, “This initiative supports the role of RLSE and the UAE’s education and community environment”. 

Legacy of Excellence

 Rashid School for Boys and Latifa School for Girls were founded in the early 1980s. Moreover, it has produced prominent figures, including ministers and senior officials. In addition, 19 percent of the UAE cabinet have graduated from these institutions. RLSE has guided more than 2000 students over the years to excel across the government, entrepreneurship, art, community, and other sectors. 

State-of-the-Art Campus

The new RLSE campus is the largest in the Gulf Region, which is spread over nearly 280,000 square metres.  Moreover, it is equipped with smart systems and sustainable design principles. Furthermore, it provides students with practical lessons in Sustainability. Moreover, the following are a few examples of facilities of this campus:

Vision and Leadership

Dr Ahmed Abdullah Belhoul Al Falasi, RLSE chairman,  highlighted that the development blueprint aligns with the vision of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. Moreover, his vision focuses on high-quality and outcome-driven education. 

In addition, the scholarship program shows the goals of  Education Strategy 2033, which Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed launched. Hence, it promotes student-centred learning and creates the future human capital in Dubai. 

Dr Rabaa Al Sumaiti, CEO of RLSE, highlighted the integration of the curriculum of academic excellence with the national identity.  Moreover, the exclusive leadership diploma provides students with critical thinking, innovation, and leadership skills. Hence, it boosts discipline, responsibility, and societal contribution. 

RLSE 2026–2027 Scholarship Applications Details

Applications open on October 6 and close on November 7 via the official website of the RLSE. Moreover, students are going to undergo the assessment tests evaluating academic performance, leadership, athletics, entrepreneurship, technology, arts, public speaking, and Arabic proficiency.
