Dubai is all set for an unforgettable night as the top Filipino boy band SB19 returns to Dubai with their Simula at Wakas World Tour to the Coca-Cola Arena on October 11, 2025. Moreover, the event is presented by Live Nation Middle, which promises explosive performances, emotional moments, and the signature high-energy choreography that has made SB19 global icons.
SB19 band members, including Pablo, Josh, Stell, Ken, and Justin, last performed in Dubai in April 2024 at The Agenda. Now, they take on one of the biggest stages in the city. Therefore, the event marks a full-circle moment for Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) and fans across the Middle East.
From Viral Hit to Global Stage
Formed in 2016, SB19 debuted their first single in 2018. However, the band shot to fame after their 2019 viral hit Go Up. Moreover, they made history in 2021 as the first Filipino act nominated for a Billboard Music Award, and their single Bazinga broke records by spending seven weeks at No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot Trending Songs chart that surpassing BTS’s Butter.
SB19 is popular for being the trailblazers of P-pop (Pinoy Pop). However, it has a blend of modern pop, hip hop, and electronic beats with Filipino identity. Moreover, the performance of the band matches deeply with the overseas Filipinos. In addition, it carries the theme of resilience, love, and longing for home.
Creative Freedom and New Music
SB19 parted ways with their former label to establish 1Z Entertainment in 2023. So, the bank aims for greater creative control and to uplift other artists. Ken said, “Our main goal is to contribute to the Philippine music industry and help make Filipino music more recognized globally. “
The latest Ep. Simula at Wakas debuted with the single Dam, which hit No. 1 on Billboard’s World Digital Song Sales chart. Therefore, the Dubai concert will feature tracks from the EP alongside fan favorites.
