According to the council, unverified apps are the door for malware, spyware, and phishing attacks. - Download apps only from trusted platforms such as Google Play or the Apple App Store.

Surprisingly, around 1.4 billion accounts are being hacked each month in the world. Moreover, simple online activities can expose you to identity theft, financial fraud, and other cyber threats.. Therefore, the council highlights that digital footprints, like browsing behaviors and social media activity, are often exploited by cybercriminals. ‘Cyber Pulse’ Campaign to Boost Awareness
Currently, more than 200000 cyberattacks are happening per day in the UAE. Therefore, the government has continued its national awareness campaign “Cyber Pulse”. Now, it is in its second year of running.
The Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA) also supports the campaign. Furthermore, it is focused on building a resilient and cyber-aware society. Additionally, it supports people to take charge of their cybersecurity.
