The UAE weather is experiencing a noticeable winter chill as mid-January approaches, with cooler temperatures. There is a chance of a change in winds and the possibility of fog in some areas. According to official forecasts, residents can expect fair to partly cloudy skies along with colder mornings over the coming days.
What Will Happen Today?

Today, the UAE weather forecast across the UAE will remain fair to partly cloudy. Currently, the extension of a weak surface low-pressure system from the east and a high-pressure system from the west, with a weak upper-air low-pressure system, is affecting the weather conditions.
Moreover, low clouds will form over islands and parts of the northern and eastern regions. According to a forecast issued by the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM), humidity levels are expected to rise by night and into Tuesday morning. This will increase the chance of fog or mist, especially in coastal and internal areas.
The NCM also reported light to moderate southeasterly winds, which will slowly turn into northwesterly. It will blow at speeds of 10–25 km/h and reach up to 35 km/h at times. Sea conditions remain slight in the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea, which may make marine activities generally safe.
