University of Dubai and Tech Firm Sign MoU to Advance Cybersecurity and Digital Resilience

The University of Dubai (UD), accredited by AACSB and ABET, has taken a significant step towards advancing the digital future of the UAE by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Tech Firm Technology LLC. Notably, UD’s Cyber-Security and Applied Resilience (C-SAR) Center has facilitated this agreement.  So, it focuses on empowering partnerships in cybersecurity, digital resilience, and innovative technologies.

Key Highlights of the MoU between the University of Dubai and Tech Firm Sign

Both institutes are going to work together under the strategic collaboration for the following goals:

  • It will promote educational programs and initiatives, including C-SAR projects.
  • It will offer special benefits and discounts for employees and their families.
  • Both institutes will conduct collaborative research projects in cybersecurity.
  • It will provide internship opportunities and practical training for UD students.

The campaign is developed to fill the gap between academic learning and industry demand. So, it makes sure students get practical experience in managing real-world digital threats.

Eesa Bastaki, President of the University of Dubai, said,” This agreement is an important step to modernizing our cybersecurity campaigns and strengthening relations with the industry. Working together with the Tech Firm is going to allow our students and professionals to participate in cutting-edge projects and develop practical skills.” 

 Ahmed Al Zarooni, CEO of Tech Firm Technology LLC, added, “We are happy to join hands with the University of Dubai to motivate advanced technology and enhance digital resilience. This partnership is going to open new doors of opportunity for businesses and academic communities.” 

 Duration and Impact

The agreement between the University of Dubai and the Tech Firm is effective immediately. However, it will remain valid for the upcoming two years. In addition, it is expected to create a strong talent pipeline for the growing cybersecurity sector of the UAE while increasing the country’s digital resilience strategy.
