According to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM), the UAE Weather is set to experience a slight dip in temperatures and increased chances of rainfall from Wednesday to Saturday. So, residents can expect partly cloudy conditions, the formation of convective clouds, and scattered showers in some areas.
What to Expect from Wednesday Onwards?
The weather conditions are going to remain partly cloudy to clear. However, there is a chance of the development over the eastern and mountainous regions during the afternoon. In addition, coastal areas may feel slightly cooler, especially in the west. On the other hand, nights and early mornings will be humid in the western region, which could lead to mist or fog.
Winds will blow from the southeast to northeast at speeds of 10 km/hr to 25 km/hr, which could potentially pick up to 40 km/hr. So, this condition could stir up the dust. However, the Arabian Gulf will remain calm to moderate. On the other hand, the Oman Sea will remain calm.
Thursday to Saturday Forecast
The same weather pattern will continue on Thursday. However, the formation of a convective cloud is expected over the eastern and southern areas, which could produce scattered rain. Similarly, the western coastal areas could see foggy and humid conditions. However, winds might intensify at times to force dust and sand to reduce visibility.
The United Aran Emirates will likely see a partly cloudy sky with scattered rain, particularly in the east and south, on Friday and Saturday. However, the risk of fog and mist could increase across the coastal and inland regions due to humidity during the night and early morning. In addition, winds will continue from the Southeast to the Northeast that could stir dust and reduce visibility.
Safety Reminder for Residents for the UAE weather
It would be best for motorists to take extra care during foggy mornings because it could reduce visibility and increase the chance of accidents. In addition, drivers should maintain a safe distance from other vehicles and follow all speed limits in the affected areas.
Apart from drivers and motorists, outdoor workers should also be alert because dusty conditions could pose difficulty when winds pick up. In addition, residents should also be encouraged to plan in advance and drive safely due to the expectation of the rain showers.
The NCM is continuously monitoring the weather closely and issuing updates as needed. So, you should also follow them.
