The Security Industry Regulatory Agency (SIRA) has successfully organized the second advanced training program on dual-use goods control use goods including imports and exports, in partnership with the Federal Office for Economic Affairs and Export Control (BAFA). However, this step is performed as a part of its ongoing strategy to empower security and boost the commercial control system.
Strengthening International Collaboration

The training shows a significant milestone in the cooperation between the UAE and Germany. Moreover, it brings the leading experts together to share the best global methods in trade and security regulations. However, the campaign highlights the commitment of SIRA to building strategic international partnerships and the regulatory system with the global standards in dual-use goods control.
Broad Participation from UAE Entities
Besides SIRA, the program saw strong participation from Dubai Customs, Dubai Municipality, the Civil Aviation Authority, and the Executive Office for Control and Non-Proliferation. Moreover, participants engaged in the practical training simulations created to replicate the real-world scenarios. Hence, it boosts their readiness and professional expertise.

The program ended with an evaluation session and a recognition ceremony, where SIRA honored the German delegation for its valuable contribution. On the other hand, the BAFA acknowledges the efforts of the UAE entities in return. So, it marks a spirit of mutual cooperation.
