Since its inception in 2001, the festival has grown into one of the most anticipated annual events in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The festival will open with a breathtaking performance of the UAE Air Force’s aerobatic display team, Forsan Al Emarat. New Year’s Eve Extravaganza at Liwa International Festival 2025–26

The grand finale of this event is going to coincides with New Year eve’s when the Tal Moreeb Car Championship will begins. Hence, you can welcome 2026 with a live concert and a spectacular fireworks display lighting up the desert sky. So, it will be a breathtaking way to welcome the new year amid Liwa’s vast dunes.

However, Liwa is about three hours from Abu Dhabi by road, accessible via Sheikh Zayed Road (E10) toward Sweihan/Al Ain with clear signboards leading to Liwa.
